1. WHAT ARE THE EXCELLENT AND CHARACTERISTIC POINTS OF IMP CURRICULUM?
In my point of view, in this special inter-faculty program, each and every lecture, field visit, seminar, internship and individual research projects have provided the participants with a comprehensive in-depth knowledge on institutional and technical aspects of infrastructure planning, development and management in Japan along with other developed countries in the world which have broadened their vision to think out of the box beyond the limits of their individual fields of specializations.
2. HOW WILL THE KNOWLEDGE AND DEGREE EARNED BY IMP BE PRACTICAL WHEN A WOMAN WORKS IN A GOVERNMENT OFFICE?
In the changing global situation, female government officials engaged in planning and implementing nations’ infrastructure development policies have to compete with their male colleagues to prove their capacities to acquire leading positions in managing and decision making for their organizations. The advanced knowledge and experiences in technological management, global economies and international laws along with the degree obtained from the Infrastructure Management Program will be the objective evidences for the female officials’ skills and capacities which will provide them with concrete confidences to lead their organizations towards ultimate excellence in infrastructure development of their countries, which eventually will facilitate them to stepping forward to the individual glorious professional carriers.

1. WHAT ARE THE EXCELLENT AND CHARACTERISTIC POINTS OF THE IMP CURRICULUM?
This versatile postgraduate degree program provides participants with deep and all-inclusive knowledge not only in terms of the technical aspects of infrastructure development and management, but also of the other associated disciplines of which the know-how is crucial in ensuring sustainable infrastructure management. The program is not limited to Japanese experience in infrastructure development. It also covers the lessons learned and novel technologies used in other developed countries. The beauty of the IMP is that it can be customized in such a way to suit the participants’ professional needs because of the flexibility it permits. The diversified components of the program such as field trips, internship, conferences and seminars and the individual research project provide an excellent practical exposure and broaden the perspective of the participants.
2. HOW WILL THE KNOWLEDGE AND DEGREE EARNED BY IMP BE PRACTICAL WHEN YOU WORK IN A GOVERNMENT OFFICE?
It is obvious that the boom of the economy and the infrastructure development as an integral part of it goes hand-in-hand. Therefore, it is important for the Governments to manage the infrastructure in such a way to maintain sustainability of development in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out in the post-2015 development agenda. Being a member of the apex body mandated in implementation of the government’s development policy framework, the Ministry of Finance, this program enhanced my knowledge and experience in the field of infrastructure management and empowered me to contribute to the future development of my country. Most of all, hands-on exposure in Japan, where the newest technology and concepts have been employed in infrastructure management immensely helped in improving my point of view and working capacity in an effective manner enabling me to competently assist in facilitating sustainable infrastructure management.

If you are an individual engaged in infrastructure development of your country, the Infrastructure Management Program is tailor-made for you. The accomplishment of this program will provide the participants with the opportunity to familiarize in infrastructure assets planning and management through the provision of in-depth knowledge and practical exposure in technical, social, environmental, institutional, economic and financial aspects of infrastructure management, thereby strengthening them to effectively contribute in planning, decision-making and policy implementation processes and to become the pioneers of the infrastructure development in their countries.

1. WHAT ARE THE EXCELLENT AND CHARACTERISTIC POINTS OF IMP CURRICULUM?
Infrastructure Management Program is an interdisciplinary program study that offers a curriculum in the field of engineering, law, environment, economics, and business administration. It makes the IMP curriculum very interesting and special to study. Participants acquire the advanced knowledge and skills necessary to be engineering professionals through active learning. Moreover, participants will have great experiences through the field study, internship program, and individual research because it enhances learning by integrating theory and practice. So, it is easy to apply in society.
2. HOW WILL THE KNOWLEDGE AND DEGREE EARNED BY IMP BE PRACTICAL WHEN A WOMAN WORKS IN A GOVERNMENT OFFICE?
Currently, equal participation and sharing of power between women and men in decision-making is the commitment at the organizations level in most countries. Therefore, women's leading figures and women's participation in government offices are needed to establish and grow evidence that women’s leadership in implementing infrastructure development policies is not only able to improve their creativity and innovation but also able to develop advanced infrastructure systems. Through the comprehensive knowledge about infrastructure and social systems, environmental management, economic development, and international project management during the study in the Infrastructure Management Program (IMP) can enhance the trust of organizations and society that women empower ultimately has positive impacts on developing infrastructures. How infrastructure development programs as an economic process support the strengthening of women's social skills, and how their actual impacts are mutually structured at the government organization level.
